For the recipe Sasha Swirl Cupcakes
|Dr. Oetker Cupcake Cases x6|
|75 g||Margarine (3 oz)|
|75 g||Caster Sugar (3 oz)|
|2 ½ ml||Dr. Oetker Madagascan Vanilla Extract (1/2 tsp)|
|Large Egg x1|
|30 ml||Whole Milk ( 2 tbsp)|
|100 g||Plain Flour (3 1/2 oz)|
|1 g||Dr. Oetker Baking Powder Sachet (1 tsp)|
|Dr. Oetker Vanilla Easy Swirl Cupcake Icing (1 can)|
|Dr. Oetker Mini Wafer Flowers (1 pack)|
|Dr. Oetker Fairy Princess|
Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan oven, 350°F, gas mark 4). Line 6 muffin tins with the Cupcake Cakes. Put all the ingredients except those for decoration in a bowl. Use an electric mixer to blend the ingredients together and then whisk for a few seconds more until smooth and creamy.
Divide the between the Cases, smooth the tops and bake for about 20 minutes until risen and lightly golden. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
To create Sasha’s quiff, fit the star-shaped nozzle to the can of Easy Swirl Icing and follow the piping instructions on the can, and starting in the middle, pipe a big swirl on top.
Sprinkle with Fairy Princess decorations. Arrange 2 Wafer Flowers for eyes, using a dab of Easy Swirl to secure a pearl in the centre of each flower.
